Bio
Andrew is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt with a lifelong passion for martial arts. With years of experience on the mats, Andrew brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the art to every class he teaches.
His martial arts journey began with a desire to challenge himself physically and mentally. Over the years, he has trained in various disciplines, but it was Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that truly captured his focus. Through consistent training, competition, and personal growth, Andrew earned his Black Belt—a milestone that reflects his commitment and perseverance.
Andrew has extensive experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Whether working with beginners or advanced practitioners, he tailors his instruction to meet individual needs while fostering a supportive and disciplined environment. His teaching philosophy emphasises personal development, and the importance of resilience both on and off the mats.
Throughout his career, Andrew has achieved notable success in competitions, including medalling at national competitions such as the British Open and English Open, and earning a gold medal at the prestigious IBJJF European Championship. He has proudly guided many students to reach their own goals in BJJ and continues to contribute to the martial arts community through mentorship and leadership.
